The Galaxy J5 and J7 offer 5MP front with LED Flash

Amping up its selfie game, Samsung has unveiled two smartphones with 5MP cameras and LED flash in front.

Samsung has added two more smartphones to its Galaxy J series - the Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7. These are the Korean tech giant’s first devices to feature front cameras with LED flash units. Both the phones will be initially available in China this month, followed by a launch in other regions in the coming months.
The Samsung Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 share quite a few specifications. They offer 5-megapixel 120-degree wide angle front cameras with LED flash strobes, and 13-megapixel rear shooters with LED flash. The pair run Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. In terms of connectivity, the phones offer dual-SIM support, 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS. Both come with 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage.
Individually, the Samsung Galaxy J5 sports a 5-inch HD IPS display, and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 CPU, aided by an Adreno 306 GPU. The device is fuelled by a 2,600mAh battery. The Samsung Galaxy J7 on the other hand, offers a 5.5-inch HD IPS display. It's powered by an octa-core 64-bit 2.4GHz Snapdragon 615 processor, further supported by an Adreno 405 GPU and a 3,000mAh battery.
Coming to the prices, the Samsung Galaxy J5 is priced at 1,398 Yuan (around Rs 14,400) and the Galaxy J7 will be available for 1,798 Yuan (approximately Rs 18,500). Both will be available in multiple hues like black, gold, and white.
